1. Selection according to application scenarios

For low-pressure fluid transportation, ASTM A53 Grade A or Q235 can be selected. ASTM A106 or 16Mn is recommended for high pressure or high temperature environments. For low temperature applications, select ASTM A333 or 16Mn dedicated to low temperature.

2. Consider processing and installation requirements

For applications that require extensive welding and forming, choose A53 Grade A with good ductility. For high strength requirements, choose Grade B or higher strength materials.

3. Cost and performance balance

For budget-sensitive projects, economical welded steel pipes (such as A53 F type) can be selected. For critical applications, seamless steel pipes (such as A106 or API 5L) are more reliable.

4. Environmental adaptability

In corrosive environments, it is recommended to use galvanized or coated carbon steel pipes.
