ERW Pipe Process Equipment
|
At the electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe mills, steel strip are formed into a pipe shape by roll forming, and then welded continuously by a high frequency electric resistance welder or high frequency or medium frequency induction heating welder to produce uniform, high strength steel pipes. The 26 mill manufactures ERW pipes with the worlds largest outside diameter, at 660.4mm(26 inches) and largest wall thickness, at 25.4mm (1 inch).
