Circular indentation treatment method for precision tube

1.Grinding treatment

The annular indentation has caused a certain degree of damage to the surface of the precision tube. 4.Heat treatment

When the annular indentation is severe and has affected the actual use effect of precision steel pipes, heat treatment methods can be considered. Heat treatment can cause certain plastic deformation of precision tube through heating and cooling, thereby eliminating annular indentations. However, it should be noted that the heat treatment temperature and time must be controlled very precisely to avoid further damage to the precision tube.

Degreasing and degreasing methods for precision steel pipes

1. Principle of steel pipe degreasing

(2) Mechanical degreasing method: Use mechanical mechanics principles such as friction and pressure to perform degreasing treatment. This method has the advantages of simple operation, no pollution, and low cost, but it cannot completely remove surface impurities, and the degreasing effect is not as good as the chemical degreasing method.

(3) Thermal degreasing method: heat the steel pipe to a certain temperature and use thermal energy to remove surface oil and other impurities. This method will not cause environmental pollution, but it is only suitable for low-temperature adsorption and desorption of grease, and its performance is poor.

3. Precautions

(1) Before degreasing, the surface should be cleaned to remove shallow stains to ensure the degreasing effect.

(2) Select appropriate chemicals and process conditions for degreasing treatment to avoid affecting the surface and mechanical properties of the steel pipe.

(3) The degreasing process will produce some harmful gases and wastewater, which need to be treated and discharged to avoid environmental pollution.

Passivation treatment of precision seamless tubes


Passivation refers to forming a lighter-colored oxide layer on the metal surface, making the metal surface smoother and weakening the ability to rust and corrode, thereby improving the corrosion resistance, durability, decoration and lubricity of the metal. Seamless  pipe passivation treatment is to perform chemical reaction treatment on the surface of seamless steel pipe to prevent it from being oxidized and corroded, and improve its service life and application effect.

2. Process

(1) Pretreatment: Clean the surface of the steel pipe to remove oil and impurities to ensure the purity of the surface during reaction.

(5) Cleaning: Wash the passivation solution with water to ensure that there are no residual passivation solutions and impurities on the surface of the steel pipe.

(6) Drying: Drain the moisture on the surface of the steel pipe.
