Precautions when forming seamless carbon steel pipe

The design and adjustment methods of some holes will directly affect the quality of seamless carbon steel pipe forming and sizing, so the following items should be paid attention to when processing seamless black steel pipe forming:

1) Before threading, the hole shape of each frame should be adjusted, and the size of each pass should be measured to ensure that it matches the size of the seamless pipe and can enter each frame stably. When adjusting, the force should be balanced, and it cannot be deformed forcibly on one frame, so as to ensure the stable and uniform change of the elevation angle;

2) Traditional roll forming process, single radius, double radius, plus two, three, four, five rolls kneading rolls, two, four rolls sizing, to ensure the forming quality. This traditional roll forming technology is mostly used for rectangular tube units with a diameter less than φ11mm;

3) Control and adjust the sizing machine equipment of the unit in the production of seamless steel pipes. Stacking errors and tumbling will affect the production of seamless steel pipes in old units;

4) American roll forming technology, voestalpine's CTA forming technology, Japan's Nakata's FF or FFX flexible forming technology, etc., have a good guarantee for the shape of the welded joint after forming and good appearance quality, and are suitable for standard A wider no Seam steel pipe series;

5) During the adjustment process of the unit, first of all, ensure that the vertical center line of each pass is consistent, and use the center as the base axis to find that the positioning scale and the center sleeve are in a straight line and the curve jump cannot be displayed;

6) In order to reduce elastic deformation, the processing and deformation passes of seamless steel pipes should be increased by 2 to 3 passes compared with ordinary rectangular pipes;

7) In the deformed structure, the initial deformation point should be reduced to ensure the stable bite of the seamless steel pipe, the central bending point should be appropriately enlarged, and the rear deformation should be appropriately reduced. Increasing the number of deformation passes not only reduces the deformation force, but also slows down the gradient of the surface stress increase when the strip generates surface stress, which can prevent the seamless steel pipe from cracking;

8) Various molding techniques have their own advantages and disadvantages, and are suitable for different conditions. According to the use of seamless steel pipes, carefully consider the selection of different forming technologies when selecting equipment.
