The process produces heat which melts the raw material and forms it into a desired shape. ERW is usually used for producing small diameter seamless steel pipes as it allows for a faster production time. ERW pipes have better quality control and strength than those produced by other methods.

Electric Resistance Welded (ERW)

Their popularity is due to their higher strength and durability compared to other types of pipes. ERW pipes are also cheaper to produce compared to other types due to their quick production time.
