The use of seamless steel pipes in the construction industry

Date:2022-12-28View:433Tags:seamless steel pipes
Among the many pipe materials, the most practical is the seamless pipe, which is a relatively strong pipe material, not only because of the wide application fields and scope of this pipe material, but more importantly, because the quality of the seamless steel pipe is very high. Well, the quality of seamless steel pipe is the reason why this kind of pipe can be promoted and developed in the industrial field. The quality of seamless steel pipe is very good, which is determined by the complex production process of seamless steel pipe. The biggest feature of seamless steel pipe is the tube The wall has no seams (can withstand high pressure), while ordinary pipes have obvious seams. Since the seamless steel pipe is characterized by small size, this type of pipe material can be used and promoted in the industrial field.

Seamless steel pipes are widely used. Universal seamless steel pipe is rolled from ordinary carbon structural steel, low alloy structural steel or alloy structural steel, and has the largest output. They are mainly used as pipes or structural parts for conveying fluids. High-quality seamless steel pipes made of this type of steel are widely used in hydraulic props, high-pressure gas cylinders, high-pressure boilers, fertilizer equipment, petroleum cracking, automobile half-axle sleeves, diesel engines, etc., and there are many applications in the construction industry, such as stainless steel seamless pipes .

1. Application in decoration engineering. In addition to walls, cylinders, automatic retractable doors, rolling shutter doors, ladder fence handrails, balcony handrails, rainwater downpipes, flagpoles, street light poles, arcade frames, kitchen and bathroom countertops, sinks, brackets, etc. in residential buildings, the applications are increasing. The grade of steel is mostly 304, and 316 is also used.

2. The application of the roof. Early buildings that used stainless steel as roofs include the Savoy Hotel in London, the Eurostar Railway Station, the Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building in New York.

3. Application in reinforced concrete. The stainless steel reinforcement is selected for the reinforced concrete structure to increase the strength and resist the corrosion of the embedded steel reinforcement by the harsh marine environment and chlorides formed in the concrete. The bridge decks of many marine structures use corrosion-resistant stainless steel concrete.

4. In addition, more and more stainless steel structures are used in construction projects such as bridges, municipal construction crossing bridges, canopies, and corridors.
