Material of seamless heat exchanger tube

Heat Exchanger Tube

The heat exchange tube is one of the components of the heat exchanger, placed inside the cylinder, and used for heat exchange between two media. It has high thermal conductivity and good isothermal properties. It is a device that can quickly transfer heat energy from one point to another, and there is almost no heat loss, so it is called a heat transfer superconductor, and its thermal conductivity is thousands of times that of copper.

The heat exchange tube is a pipe used to transfer heat, which is widely used in hot and cold water systems, air conditioning systems, steam transportation and cooling systems in industrial production, etc. According to different application scenarios and requirements, the materials of heat exchange tubes are also different, mainly the following:

1. Copper tube

Copper tube is one of the most widely used heat exchange tube materials at present. It has excellent thermal conductivity and is one of the ideal materials for manufacturing high-efficiency heat exchangers; it is corrosion-resistant, has a long service life, can better resist high temperature and high pressure, and is economical and practical. Therefore, copper tubes are used in heating, refrigeration, air conditioning, refrigeration, electricity, chemical industry and other fields.

2. Steel pipe

Steel pipe is a commonly used heat exchanger tube material. Compared with other materials, its advantage is that it is relatively cheap and easy to process and install. Steel pipes have high strength and pressure resistance, and good corrosion resistance. They can withstand greater pressure and temperature, so they are widely used in high temperature and high pressure fields. Steel pipes are also divided into two categories: seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes.

3. Stainless steel pipes

Stainless steel pipes are strong, wear-resistant, and non-flexible pipes, especially suitable for applications in high temperature and high pressure environments. Stainless steel pipes also have excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. They are suitable for manufacturing high temperature and corrosion-resistant heat exchangers and have a long service life. Therefore, stainless steel pipes are widely used in industry, chemical industry, aerospace and other fields. However, its price is relatively high, and it needs to be evaluated according to actual needs when choosing.

4. Aluminum-plastic composite pipes

The inner layer of the aluminum-plastic composite pipe is an aluminum layer, which is tightly combined with the outer plastic layer by a special manufacturing process. The advantages of aluminum-plastic composite pipes are light weight and low price, and they are widely used in construction, water heating, heating and other fields.
