Installation steps and methods of seamless steel pipes

Seamless steel pipe installation steps

1. Carefully familiarize yourself with the drawings, cooperate with the progress of civil construction, reserve slots and install embedded parts.

2. Draw the construction sketches of the pipeline location, seamless steel pipe diameter, diameter change, reserved opening, slope direction, bracket position, etc. according to the design drawings,
including the starting point, end and bend, node of the main pipe. Reserved opening, coordinate position, etc.

3. Main pipe installation: According to the construction sketch, prefabricate the seamless steel pipe section, including: cutting pipe, threading, installing parts, straightening
Check the size, group and number according to the loop, and stack them neatly.

4. Install the bracket and install it according to the design requirements or specified spacing. When installing the hanging card, first put the hanging stick on the steel section according to the slope and sequence, and put the hanging ring on the pipe according to the spacing position, then lift the seamless steel pipe, put on the bolts and nuts, and fix the pipe. When installing the pipe on the bracket, first place the pipe on the bracket, install the U-clip on the first section of the pipe, and then install the second section of the pipe. All subsequent seamless steel pipes should be installed in the same way, and the bolts should be tightened.

5. The main pipe installation should start from the household or branch point. Before installing the seamless steel pipe, the pipe cavity should be checked and cleaned. Apply lead oil and hemp on the thread head. One person holds the pipe flat at the end, and one person fixes the pipe relatively to the thread at the interface, and slowly turns it into the thread. Use a pipe clamp to bite the front section of the pipe fitting, and use another pipe clamp to turn the pipe to a moderate tightness, align it with the mark when straightening, and require the thread to be exposed for 2~3 buckles, and remove the hemp head. Follow this method to install it until it is completed (the pipe must be inserted into the steel casing first when passing through the expansion joint or the ditch).

6. When making a sheep's horn bend, two elbows of about 75° should be simmered, and a groove should be sawed at the connection. The main pipe should be sawed into a duckbill shape. After assembly, it should be spot welded, leveled, aligned, and straightened before welding. The diameter of the elbow joint must be equal to the diameter of the main seamless steel pipe, and its bending radius should be about 2.5 times the diameter of the pipe.

Installation by welding

The installation of seamless steel pipes by welding is a common method. Here are the specific steps:

1. First, arrange and locate the pipeline according to the design drawings, and confirm the pipeline route and bracket;

2. Cut the seamless steel pipe, measure and calibrate according to the actual length;

3. Before installing the pipeline, check the pipeline road where the pipeline is installed and clean up the garbage and debris on the road to ensure that the pipeline can be installed without obstruction;

4. Butt and weld the steel pipes. If necessary, it can be installed in combination with the flow direction of the conveying medium and the bracket of the pipeline.

Note: The installation by welding requires special tools and equipment to achieve, so before construction, it is necessary to confirm that the installer has relevant operating skills and experience.

Installation by flange connection

The connection between hot-rolled seamless steel pipes and flanges is a common method. Here are the specific steps:

1. Determine the location and number of pipeline lines and pipeline supports according to the flow chart and installation drawings;

2. After determining the location of the support, weld the flange and sealing gasket on the upper end of the support;

3. Clean the flange connection surface, install the seamless steel pipe to the flange connection, and then fix the pipeline.

Note: When installing the flange connection method, you need to pay attention to the size of the flange and the cleaning of the connection surface to avoid wear during installation or loose connection causing leakage.

Socket connection method installation

The socket connection method is a very simple method. Here are the specific steps:

1. First, design the connection method of the pipeline support and the corresponding pipeline according to the wiring diagram and equipment drawings;

2. Cut the seamless steel pipe, apply sealant to the end, and then insert it into the connector;

3. Use special tools to fix the pipeline connection.

Note: The socket connection method installation has the characteristics of low complexity and high work efficiency, but you also need to pay attention to the size and length of the connection plug. If the length is too short, the connection may not be tight, which may cause pipeline leakage.
